Current Vacancies: Security Consultant & Auditor
AC Assure is looking for a computer security professional to join the team to perform logical and physical security assessments and consultancy. The company’s core business is providing information security services for the financial and banking sector, mainly across Europe.
This post will focus primarily on performing Payment Card Industry (PCI) Card Production audits.
Main Responsibilities
• Conduct financial scheme PCI Card Production security assessments.• Presentation of findings to client at senior management level.
• Produce compliance reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Development of UK based security consultancy and Cyber Essential audits.
• Support the development of new business services.
Experience & Qualifications
Candidates must be able to demonstrate at least 3 years practical experience within the following areas:
• Cryptography & key management• Physical security
• Data security
• Network & system security
• Database security
• Application security
Candidates should have a computer related degree or have a recognised certification such as CISSP, CISA or CISM. Any candidates with experience of the PCI Card Production requirements will have a distinct advantage as this will form the core element of this role. It would be advantageous for candidates to also have experience in computer forensics, penetration testing, smartcard technologies, EMV, mobile OTA, NFC and HCE technologies. Practical experience of governance and compliance services, such as ISO/IEC 27000 series and PCI-DSS, is also desirable.

You must be professional, organised, self-motivated, and technically competent. You display excellent written and verbal communication, are a quick learner and possess a real desire to contribute to a developing small company.
Further Details
The position will be offered on a permanent basis, subject to the successful completion of a probationary period and a third party assessment, for which full training will be provided.
A degree of flexibility is required from staff due to the foreign travel as this could account for up to 50% of your working time. Although the company offices are based in Cheshire, the company operates a remote and home working option so it not necessary to be based in the Northwest.
The job will initially attract a salary range of £35,000 to £50,000 along with a bonus scheme related to performance and contribution to business development.
